I keep having to pinch myself that it's really the end of February and my baby is just days away from turning two. Two years ago I had no idea how my life was about to change! It's been a busy and eventful two years, but I would not trade anything in the world for my experience of becoming a mother. Payton is the most rewarding, fun, exciting, wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. It's so neat to think that Kyle and I created her, that she is a piece of both of us. I definitely see both of us in her!

Two years later, and it turns out that I gave birth to the funniest, sweetest, most beautiful, fun-loving, talkative and adorable little girl I have ever met. I can be having the worst day, but the second I come home and she smiles and yells "mommy!" as she runs towards me, nothing else matters. She brightens my whole universe. I've probably quoted this before, but it is one of my favorites. I think it sums up motherhood perfectly... "Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body".
